DALLAS, April 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Brinker International, Inc. (NYSE: EAT) announced it has signed an agreement with Shoot The Moon, LLC, to develop five On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina(R) restaurants primarily in Utah, Montana and Southern Idaho. As part of the deal, Shoot The Moon also purchased the existing On The Border restaurant in Boise, Idaho.

The development agreement is part of the Brinker strategy to expand domestic and international franchise ownership of its brands from 20 percent to approximately 30 percent within the current calendar year.

This is the second agreement in 12 months between Shoot The Moon and Brinker. In May 2006, the two parties agreed on a deal for Shoot The Moon to acquire and develop multiple Chili's Grill & Bar(R) and Romano's Macaroni Grill(R) restaurants in the Northwest. Shoot The Moon is now the first domestic franchisee to sign an agreement for three Brinker brands.
