Romano's Macaroni Grill(R) Thanks Guests 100,000 Times for Supporting the Fight Against Hunger


DALLAS, April 23, 2008 /PRNewswire via COMTEX News Network/ -- Romano's Macaroni Grill and its guests have made a positive difference in the lives of many elderly, disabled and homebound Americans. On April 15, the Italian restaurant brand presented a check of more than $100,000 as a result of its dessert promotion held earlier this year.

From February 18 through the end of March, $1 from each sale of the new Three-Berry Tiramisu was donated to the Meals On Wheels Association of America (MOWAA). The dessert features lemon cake layered with blackberry, raspberry and strawberry puree, sweet mascarpone and whipped cream, topped with strawberries and crushed almond biscotti.
