Cinco de Mayo Is Full of Fresh, New Flavors at On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina
On The Border launches its Fresh Look menu at restaurants nationwide just in time to enjoy this annual holiday on the patio. The menu, which represents a complete redesign, features more than 20 new items. Throughout the menu, freshly prepared dishes and unique items from the grill are sure to fill your stomach without draining your wallet.
"We designed the new menu with our guests in mind," said Linda VanGosen, vice president of brand strategy for On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina. "We listened carefully to our guests' feedback and created a new menu that is easy to navigate and highlights their favorite flavors."
New signature items include the new Grilled Mahi Mahi Tacos, featuring a seasoned Mahi Mahi fillet tucked into two soft corn tortillas with creamy red chile sauce, shredded cabbage, cheese and pico de gallo.
Guests looking for a lighter fare can try the new Citrus Chipotle Chicken Salad - a delicious Border Smart alternative made with premium pulled chicken breast tossed in a flavorful Mango Citrus Vinaigrette with peppers, red onions, tomatoes, corn and crunchy jicama and served atop fresh mixed greens.
Those in the mood for something a little more self-indulgent can order the new Taco Melts. Served in a sizzling skillet, the Taco Melts feature seasoned ground beef or savory chicken mixed with a unique blend of creamy queso, then topped with melted cheese to create taco melt magic. Served with four mini, crispy taco shells, fresh shredded lettuce, pico de gallo and sour cream, for delicious tacos customized at the table.
